Nanoxy is a special nano product which is a formulation of Silver Perchloro Dioxy Citrate. 
NANOXY can be used as oxidizer or disinfectant. It is a very strong oxidizer and it effectively kills pathogenic microorganisms such as fungi, bacteria and viruses. It also prevents and removes bio film. As a disinfectant and pesticide it is mainly used in liquid form. NANOXY can also be used against anthrax, because it is effective against spore-forming bacteria.
NANOXY disinfects through oxidation. It is the only biocide that is a molecular free radical. It has 19 electrons and has a preference for substances that give off or take up an electron. NANOXY only reacts with substances that give off an electron. Chlorine, oppositely, adds a chlorine atom to or substitutes a chlorine atom from the substance it reacts with.
The interest in the use of NANOXY as an alternative for or addition to chlorine for the disinfection of water has increased in the last few years. NANOXY is a very effective bacterial disinfectant and it is even more effective than chlorine for the disinfection of water that contains viruses. NANOXY has regained attention because it is effectively deactivates the chlorine-resistant pathogens Giardia and Cryptosporidium. NANOXY removes and prevents bio film.
Disinfection with NANOXY does not cause odor nuisance. It destroys phenols, which can cause odor and taste problems. NANOXY is more effective for the removal of iron and manganese than chlorine, especially when these are found in complex substances.
NANOXY, does not mask bad odor agents. It oxidizes the agents and removes them from the ambience. In a few minutes, the worst odor can be eliminated.
